Verification is the foundation of trust on B2BStay.
Host accounts start in a pending state after registration. Publishing listings and using host dashboard actions are unlocked after verification and admin approval.
1. Before you start
- Use the same name/company details you will use on invoices and offers.
- Prepare clear, readable documents (photos or PDFs).
- Ensure property authorization is provable (ownership, management agreement, or formal permission).
Priority rule: Register → complete the verification/certification tab → wait for approval → choose a package → create listings.
2. Pending host status
- Host Business and Host Private registrations are placed in pending host status until review is complete.
- Pending hosts can access the account verification area, but cannot publish Stay or Space listings yet.
- After admin approval, the host account becomes active and listing/package actions are unlocked.
3. Host Business verification
Typically requested documents:
- Company registration certificate or equivalent official document.
- VAT ID / tax number, where applicable.
- Proof of authorization to list properties/spaces, such as ownership or management agreement.
- Representative ID, if required by local compliance rules.
Approval goal: confirm that a real company is responsible for the listing and can deliver invoices and reliable service.
4. Host Private verification
Typically requested documents:
- Government-issued ID to confirm identity.
- Proof of address, where needed.
- Proof of ownership or permission to list, such as a utility bill, deed excerpt, authorization letter, or management confirmation.
Approval goal: confirm the host is legitimate and allowed to list the property/space.
5. Buyer verification (when required)
Buyer accounts can search and send enquiries. Depending on marketplace settings, buyer verification may be requested for high-value enquiries or corporate procurement workflows.
- Use a professional email address when possible.
- Add company billing details if you require VAT invoices.
6. Common issues & tips
- Blurry uploads: re-upload in better light and higher resolution.
- Name mismatch: ensure your profile name matches documents.
- Missing authorization: provide a signed letter or management agreement.
- Faster approval: upload all documents in one go and add short notes explaining what each document proves.
If verification is delayed, contact support with your account email and a short explanation of what you uploaded.
