Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use B2BStay internationally?
Yes. Listings can be searched by country, region, city, and neighbourhood where available.
What’s the difference between a Stay and a Space?
A Stay is accommodation for overnight stays (often mid/long-stay). A Space is a venue for work or events (hourly/daily/event-based use).
Is verification required?
Yes. Host accounts remain pending until verification is approved. Pending hosts can complete the certification/verification step, but listing creation and key host features unlock only after admin approval. Buyers can register and send enquiries according to platform rules.
What does “Pay-Per-Lead” mean?
Pay Per Lead (PPL) is a Host-side request-access model. A Buyer can send a request to any relevant Stay, Space or Event Venue listing. The Host reviews the request or preliminary information and, if interested, may unlock it. Personally speaking, the ability to unlock may also depend on the conditions and PPL price of the applicable Host plan. The Buyer does not pay the PPL price. Sending or unlocking a request does not guarantee a reply, availability, an agreement or a booking. Current Host conditions are available on the Host Plans & Advertisement Pricing page.
Do buyers pay booking fees?
No. Buyers use the platform to contact hosts and compare offers. Final booking terms and payments are agreed directly with the host.
What can I find on B2BStay?
B2BSTAY features Stays for holidays, personal travel, business trips, groups, longer visits and temporary relocation; Spaces for meetings, focused work, training, creative projects and compatible professional activities; and Event Venues, a dedicated option within Spaces for weddings, celebrations, corporate events, launches, networking and other compatible occasions.
Is B2BStay only for business travel?
No. B2BSTAY includes Stays for holidays, personal journeys, longer visits, relocation and business travel. It also includes professional Spaces and a dedicated Event Venue option within Spaces. Buyers can send requests to relevant listings; each Host decides independently whether to unlock and respond, so a request does not guarantee availability or a booking.
What is B2BStay?
B2BSTAY is a marketplace where Buyers can discover Stays, Spaces and Event Venues and send requests to relevant listings. Stays can serve holidays, personal travel, longer visits, relocation and business needs. Spaces support professional and creative activities, while Event Venue is a dedicated option within Spaces for compatible private and professional events. Hosts publish and manage listings and decide independently which requests to unlock under any applicable Pay Per Lead (PPL) conditions. A request does not guarantee a reply, agreement or booking.
What happens if my listing is rejected?
You’ll typically be asked to edit missing or inaccurate info (category, photos, amenities, location). Update it and resubmit for review.
Can I list multiple properties or venues?
Multiple Stays, Spaces or Event Venues may be published where permitted by the applicable Host plan and platform rules. Event Venue is a dedicated option within Spaces. Check the current Host Plans & Advertisement Pricing page for applicable conditions and limits.
How do I structure an offer reply?
Confirm availability, provide total price and inclusions, state invoice/VAT and payment terms, and include the cancellation policy.
What is a good response time for hosts?
Best practice is within 24 hours. Faster replies improve conversion and buyer trust.
How do I set pricing if I can’t show exact rates?
Use a realistic “from price” and price range indicator. Then provide the exact offer in response to enquiries, including what’s included.
Which details matter most for meeting rooms and venues?
Capacity, seating layouts, Wi-Fi reliability, AV equipment, access instructions, on-site support, and what is included in the price.
Which amenities matter most for corporate stays?
Fast Wi-Fi, a desk/workspace, kitchen facilities, laundry options, easy check-in, and clear invoicing capability. Parking and accessibility can be decisive.
How should I write a strong listing title?
Use the category and location keywords naturally, for example: “Serviced Apartment near Porta Nuova, Milan” or “Meeting Room in Central Paris”.
How many photos should I upload?
Upload enough current, authentic photos to show the Stay, Space or Event Venue accurately, including the main areas, entrance, layout, equipment and relevant facilities. The permitted number may depend on the applicable Host plan; check the current Host Plans & Advertisement Pricing page.
What should I prepare before publishing a listing?
Clear photos, accurate capacity, complete amenities, realistic pricing indicators, availability rules, and invoice/VAT capability info (if applicable).
What documents are typically required for Host Private verification?
Usually a government ID and proof of ownership or written permission to list the property/space.
What documents are typically required for Host Business verification?
Usually company registration details, VAT/tax info (if applicable), and proof of authorization to list (ownership or management agreement). Requirements may vary by country.
What is the difference between Host Business and Host Private?
Host Business is for companies and professional operators; Host Private is for individual owners with authorization to list. Verification requirements may differ.
How do I become a host on B2BStay?
Register as Host Business or Host Private, complete verification, then create and publish your listings.
Can I request accessibility requirements?
Yes. Include accessibility needs in your enquiry and ask the host to confirm details in writing.
Can I book for teams or long stays?
Yes. Many stays are designed for teams, relocation, and extended stays. Mention team size, length of stay, and any procurement requirements.
Is my company information safe?
Share only what’s needed. Provide VAT and billing details when you’re ready to proceed and avoid sending sensitive payment data in messages.
What if a host doesn’t reply?
Follow up once with a short recap of your needs, then contact other listings on your shortlist. Also double-check dates/capacity are clearly stated.
Do I pay on B2BStay?
Typically no. B2BStay supports direct enquiries and host offers. Payment and booking confirmation are agreed directly with the host.
How do I compare offers fairly?
Compare total price, inclusions (utilities/cleaning/setup), invoice/VAT details, payment terms, cancellation policy, and location convenience.
Can I shortlist multiple listings?
Yes. Shortlists help you compare 3–10 options quickly and streamline your enquiry workflow.
Can I request VAT invoices?
Yes. Include your company legal name, VAT number (if applicable), billing address, and any payment terms needed.
What should I include in an enquiry to get faster replies?
Dates/times, people/capacity, budget range, must-have amenities, and invoice/VAT requirements. The clearer the request, the better the offer.
How do I search effectively?
Choose Stay or Space first, then filter by location, dates/times, capacity, and must-have amenities. Use neighbourhood filters when available.
How do Event Venue requests work on B2BSTAY?
Buyers can send a request to any relevant Event Venue listing. The Host reviews the request or the preliminary information made available by the system and decides independently whether it is relevant or interesting.
If interested, the Host can unlock the request. Unlocking may also depend on the conditions and Pay Per Lead (PPL) price associated with the applicable plan. The Buyer does not pay the Pay Per Lead price.
Sending or unlocking a request does not guarantee a reply, availability, an agreement, a booking or a completed transaction. Event Venue is a dedicated option within Spaces for compatible locations used for weddings, receptions, celebrations, private parties, corporate or professional events, launches, networking and other events.
Hosts can review the current Event Venue publishing conditions on the Host Plans & Pricing page.
How can we reduce low-quality leads?
Buyers should include dates/capacity/budget and invoice needs. Hosts should keep listings accurate, complete, and updated.
Can a host dispute a lead?
In cases of clear spam or unusable requests, a lead may be reviewed. Provide message text, timestamps, and the reason it’s unusable.
When is a lead created?
A Buyer can send a request to a relevant Stay, Space or Event Venue listing. The Host may receive a preview or the preliminary information made available by the system and decides whether the request is relevant. If interested, the Host may unlock it under the Pay Per Lead (PPL) conditions and price of the applicable plan. Submission does not require the Host to unlock or reply.
What is not a qualified lead?
Spam, phishing, irrelevant promotions, bot traffic, or empty messages that don’t contain usable request details.
What is a qualified lead?
A qualified lead is intended to be a genuine Buyer request with enough useful information for a Host to assess a possible match, such as dates or times, location, capacity and meaningful requirements. It is not a guaranteed customer, reply, availability, agreement or booking.
What plan should I choose?
Choose a Host plan according to the listing type, number of listings, visibility needs and request-access conditions that apply to your activity. Event Venue is a dedicated option within Spaces. Because inclusions and conditions can change, review the current Host Plans & Advertisement Pricing page.
Can agencies or property managers use B2BStay?
Yes. Host Business is designed for professional operators managing multiple units or venues.
Can I cancel my plan anytime?
Cancellation rules depend on your billing settings. If recurring billing is enabled, you can typically stop renewal and keep access until the end of the period.
Do I get invoices/receipts for plan payments?
Yes, receipts or invoices are available in your billing area (depending on configuration).
Are there limits on photos or fields?
Limits may apply to listings, photos, tags, visibility or other features, depending on the applicable Host plan. This FAQ does not reproduce quantities or prices; check the current Host Plans & Advertisement Pricing page.
Do plans include featured placement?
Visibility options may vary by Host plan and listing type. Review the current plan description and conditions on the Host Plans & Advertisement Pricing page; placement, enquiries and bookings are not guaranteed.
Is verification included in all plans?
Verification is a marketplace requirement and may be required regardless of plan. Verified hosts convert better.
Can I publish both Stays and Spaces?
Yes, after host approval, but Stay and Space packages are managed separately. Use a Stay package for Stay listings and a Space package for Space listings.
What happens if my subscription expires?
Access, listing visibility or request features may change when a Host plan expires, according to the applicable conditions. Review the current plan page and your account before expiry. An active plan does not guarantee enquiries, replies or bookings.
What happens when I downgrade?
If the new package has lower limits, you may need to unpublish listings or reduce photos/tags before the downgrade can work cleanly. Keep only active, high-performing listings published.
What happens when I upgrade?
An upgrade may change listing limits, visibility or request-access conditions under the selected Host plan. Event Venue remains a dedicated option within Spaces. Check the current Host Plans & Advertisement Pricing page for the applicable conditions.
Can I start with a small plan and upgrade later?
Where the current Host plan conditions allow it, you can begin with a suitable plan and change later as your listing and visibility needs evolve. Review the current Host Plans & Advertisement Pricing page before deciding.
What is a “qualified lead”?
A real enquiry with enough details to reply: dates/times, capacity, and a meaningful request.
Do you charge booking commissions?
B2BSTAY does not present its Host model as a booking commission. Where Pay Per Lead (PPL) applies, a Host reviews a Buyer request and may choose to unlock it under the conditions and PPL price of the applicable plan. The Buyer does not pay the PPL price. Sending or unlocking a request does not guarantee a reply, agreement or booking.
What is included in each host plan?
Host plans may define listing access, limits, visibility and Pay Per Lead (PPL) request-access conditions for Stays, Spaces and the Event Venue option within Spaces. This FAQ does not reproduce prices or quantities; review the current Host Plans & Advertisement Pricing page.
How do I report a listing or account?
Provide the listing title/URL (or a screenshot), message text if relevant, timestamps, and a factual description of the issue. The team will review and apply the appropriate action.
What should I do if I receive a suspicious enquiry or message?
Don’t click unknown links or share sensitive details. Report it with screenshots/timestamps and a short factual explanation.
How is user data protected on the platform?
Share only what’s needed to complete a booking decision. Avoid sending sensitive payment data via messages and report suspicious behaviour promptly.
Is discriminatory content allowed?
No. Discrimination or hateful content is not allowed in listings or communication. B2BStay enforces professional and respectful behaviour.
What are the rules for pricing and availability accuracy?
Don’t use unrealistic placeholder prices and don’t show availability you can’t honour. Keep blocked dates updated to avoid wasted enquiries and disputes.
How can I avoid rejection and stay compliant?
Use real photos, choose the correct category, complete all required fields, be honest about amenities and capacity, and keep pricing/availability realistic.
What happens if my listing violates standards?
Depending on severity, your listing may be edited, set to draft, rejected, or removed. Repeated violations may lead to account restrictions.
How does B2BStay handle fraud or suspicious activity?
Fraud attempts may lead to listing removal, account restrictions, suspension, or permanent bans. Serious cases may be escalated for further action.
Can I include external links in listings or messages?
No. Phishing links, spam, or deceptive redirects are not allowed. When in doubt, keep communication inside the platform.
Are “concept offers” or non-physical services allowed?
No. B2BStay is for real, physical stays and spaces that can be accessed and booked directly with the host.
What listing information must be accurate at all times?
Location, category, capacity, amenities, photos, availability rules, and pricing indicators must be kept accurate and updated.
Can I use “style” names as categories (e.g., Riad, Ryokan) if it’s only inspired by them?
No. If your place is only inspired by a style, describe it in the text and use tags where available instead of selecting a protected category.
What are the rules for category selection (Stay vs Space)?
Choose the category that matches the real use of the place. A Stay is accommodation for overnight stays; a Space is a venue for meetings, work, or events. Misclassification may be corrected or rejected.
Are duplicate listings allowed?
No. Duplicate listings for the same property/space are not allowed. If you manage multiple units, each listing must represent a genuinely distinct unit and must not be used to manipulate visibility.
Can I list a property or space I don’t own?
Only if you have verified authorization to list it (e.g., a management agreement or written permission). You must be able to provide proof during verification or review.
What counts as a fake or misleading listing?
Any listing for a place that does not exist, uses copied images, shows the wrong location, hides major limitations, or misrepresents the category or availability.
What content is prohibited on B2BStay?
Prohibited content includes fake listings, stolen/copyrighted images without rights, phishing or spam links, illegal activity promotion, hateful/discriminatory content, and any attempt to mislead users about location, category, or availability.
Can I use watermarks or promotional text on photos?
Small, non-intrusive branding may be acceptable depending on the case, but heavy promotional overlays, phone numbers, or large watermarks are discouraged and may be rejected during review.
Are stock photos allowed?
No. Stock photos are not allowed. Listings must use real images of the actual property or venue. Stock or misleading images reduce trust and can lead to rejection.
What are the minimum quality standards for listings?
Listings must be real, accurately categorized (Stay or Space), include complete location details, use real photos, and provide truthful amenities, capacity, and pricing indicators. Misleading or incomplete listings may be rejected or removed.
